Redact. Secure.
Disappear the data.

SENSURE strips metadata and lets you paint over sensitive areas before sharing — all inside your browser. No uploads. No servers. No risk.

Three steps to privacy

Everything happens locally in your browser. Your photo never leaves your device.

📂

1. Upload

Drop your JPEG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, or TIFF. We immediately scan the first 64KB for metadata strings like Exif, XMP, or Photoshop data.

🖊️

2. Redact

Paint black boxes over any sensitive area — faces, addresses, IDs. Draw mode works on both mouse and touch for mobile users.

🛡️

3. Armor & Save

Apply anti-OCR noise injection around redacted areas. Download the hardened image. AI inpainting can't reconstruct what's gone.

Redact & Harden Your Photo

⚠️ Note: HEIC and TIFF rendering depends on your browser. If it looks blank, it's not the web — it's your browser's limitation. Standard formats (JPG/PNG) work best.

Common Questions

Does my image get uploaded to a server? +
Absolutely not. Every operation — metadata scanning, canvas drawing, noise injection — happens entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. Zero bytes are sent anywhere.
What is metadata and why is it dangerous? +
JPEG/PNG photos often contain hidden Exif data: GPS coordinates, camera model, timestamps, even software used. XMP and Photoshop metadata can reveal your editing history. Sharing these unstripped can expose your real location or identity.
How does the Anti-OCR noise work? +
After black-filling your redacted area, SENSURE injects random-colored pixel noise (scanline pattern) in a halo around the redaction. AI inpainting algorithms that try to "guess" what was underneath get confused by the destroyed pixel context.
Why does HEIC look blank? +
HEIC is Apple's format and most non-Safari browsers can't natively render it. The file is still accepted for metadata scanning, but the canvas won't display it. Convert to JPG/PNG first for the best experience.
